2. Why information is used and who processes it
We use inquiry information to respond, discuss requested services, arrange separately agreed work, and keep relevant communications. Technical information helps deliver the website, prevent abuse, investigate problems, and understand website performance.
Cloudflare supports website delivery, security, and performance measurement. Our cPanel hosting and mail services deliver inquiries to our Gmail business mailbox at [email protected]. Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by law.
These providers may process information outside Canada. Information processed in another country may be subject to that country’s laws and lawful access requirements.
3. Essential cookies and saved preferences
- - The nppc_production_session and XSRF-TOKEN cookies support website sessions and protect forms against unauthorized submissions.
- - Browser local storage remembers your selected light or dark theme.
- - The north_peace_cookie_consent cookie remembers acknowledgment of the cookie notice for 180 days unless you clear it sooner. Selecting Got it acknowledges the notice; it does not activate advertising or tracking cookies.
You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the contact form from working.
4. Performance analytics, fonts, and bot protection
The website uses Cloudflare performance analytics to measure page-load performance and website usage without analytics cookies. This measurement is separate from the cookie-notice acknowledgment. Google Analytics and advertising pixels are not currently integrated.
The website loads Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to download font resources, which involves network requests and associated information such as your IP address and browser details.
If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled on the contact form, it processes browser and network information to help distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse.
5. Retention and protection
We retain information as needed to handle inquiries, provide agreed services, maintain security, and meet applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on the record and its purpose; you can ask us about information you have provided.
We use measures such as HTTPS, form-security controls, and restricted administrative access to help protect information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask for corrections. You may also ask us to delete information or withdraw consent to a use that depends on consent. We will review requests subject to applicable legal requirements and explain any limits on what we can do.
